Market Harborough District Scouts St Georges Day Church Parade took place on Sunday 25th April. More than 300 Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers marched from Symingtoms Rec to St Dionysius Church where a service took place. During the service awards were presented to members of the district by Eric Gamble, District Commissioner.
One of these awards was presented to Jean Webb who has achieved 40 years service. Jean has held various positions throughout her time in Scouting and currently holds the position of District Badge Secretary. Pictured is Jean receiving her award from Eric. Other awards presented on the day were to Toby Taylor – Explorer Scout Leader Warrant, Sue Gardner and Sue Lamont – Woodbadges, Debbie Billington – 5 years service and Iain Provins and Mark Turner – 15 years service.
