On 26th January 2010 we had a visit from the Police Armed Response Unit. They came and showed us lots of different things. These included the bullet proof vests that they wear, handcuffs that we were allowed to try on. They also showed us guns that they carry and the Tazer stun guns that they use to disable criminals. It was great fun trying on the handcuffs and one scout was allowed to try on the uniform, including gas mask. I really enjoyed the evening, it was very interesting.
