District AGM

Please join our Annual General at Robert Monk Hall in Foxton Meeting on 22nd May for a celebration of what we have achieved over the last year.

As an adult in Harborough District, an explorer or parent of an explorer, you are automatically a member of our District Scout Council and you get to nominate and elect members on to the District Executive to represent you. The District Exec exists to support the DC, Groups, Explorers and Network.

Following the Changes we made to the Trustee Board last year we have two positions which are up for election in the forthcoming year 2025 to 2026.
These positions are as follows:

• District Chair Currently held by Derek Catt
• One Appointed member Currently held by Eric Gamble

I now ask you as a Council member to put forward your nominations for these positions.
Please reply to the Secretary on secretary@harboroughscouts.org.uk before the 16 th May 2025 indicating the role being considered for election. You can also put yourself forward for election.
Should we receive more than one nomination for any position then we will hold an online election before the AGM, which is being held on the 22 nd May 2025.
