1st Fleckney Scout Group AGM 2024

Date: 12th October 2024 Location: Silver Band hall. Fleckney

The 1st Fleckney Scout Group is holding its Annual General Meeting also called a Group Scout Council on Saturday the 12th October 2024, commencing at 13:00 at the Silver Band hall in Fleckney. The AGM will be followed by refreshments and some tomahawk throwing, if the weather permits.

All are welcome to attend both the meeting and the refreshments and activities afterwards. So please come along to support the Group and find out what we have done over the past 12 months, plan to do in the next 12 months and have some fun. We will also be explaining the ongoing changes to the way the Group is governed and managed.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
