Weather: Dull with some showers but sunny on Sunday
Site conditions: Uneven but sheltered, sloping area
Judges’ comments: Unfortunately the main camping field was double booked so the smaller sloping field presented an uneven challenge to the competitors. Successful “Grease traps” and “Teamwork” proved a challenge to some Patrols.
The Turner Trophy (a box of useful camp kit ) commemorating the former District Chairman, Mark Turner was first issued to the winners.
