Judges’ comments: The standard of camping at this year’s competition was exceptionally high.
The site was a very level playing field and each Patrol came up with some noteworthy devices to gain points, from novel or complex menu items to innovative gadgets and themes.
The weather conditions were not challenging but overall the tent pitching was equal to anything.
The kitchen hygiene and food storage was much better than in previous years, apart from a little spilt milk (nothing to cry about) and the site was left cleaner than when we arrived.
There has to be a winner but all the teams were a credit to their Troop and Leaders and also to Scouting in Market Harborough District.
Adam’s challenge: Global Issues Activity Badge
